As part of its efforts to equip students with real-world experience and relevant insights into the professional world, the UNPAR Faculty of Vocational Studies organizes various activities that support holistic learning both inside and outside the classroom. Students are not only provided with theoretical knowledge but are also given opportunities to interact directly with industries, communities, and other professional environments.

One key implementation of this approach is the Industrial Internship or Field Work Practice (PKL) program, which spans two semesters, each worth 20 credits. In this program, students are immersed in the workplace within industries relevant to their field of study.

In addition, students receive direct learning from practitioners through field lectures and have the opportunity to participate in industrial visits to various regions outside Bandung as part of specific courses, accompanied by faculty supervisors.

These visits are not limited to students. Faculty leaders and lecturers also conduct industry visits to establish and expand partnerships, as well as to update the curriculum to align with the ever-evolving needs of the workforce.

At the beginning of their studies, new students take part in the UNPAR Orientation and Adaptation Program (SIAP), which introduces them to academic life, student activities, and daily social dynamics within the campus environment.

Faculty involvement in community service is also an essential part of the university’s Tri Dharma (three pillars of higher education). These activities include mentoring for MSMEs, training for high school/vocational school students, and other initiatives that have a direct impact on the community.

Equally important, the academic community actively supports university promotion by visiting high schools and vocational schools both within and outside the city, in collaboration with UNPAR’s Marketing Team to introduce prospective students to the values and strengths of education at the university.
