Overview

This study program aligns with the government’s efforts to enhance human resource skills in the industrial sector and to increase the added value of Indonesia’s agricultural and animal-based commodities in the food industry.

Food Engineering Technology is the first applied undergraduate program of its kind in West Java, with a curriculum that emphasizes the application of scientific knowledge more than theoretical depth.

To become a humane, excellent, and skilled academic community in the Applied Bachelor’s Program in Food Engineering Technology, recognized at both regional and international levels, in the pursuit of human dignity and the integrity of creation.

Mission
  1. To build an academic community within the Applied Bachelor’s Program in Food Engineering Technology that makes a real impact on society, grounded in the values of humanity, creativity, pluralism, dialogue, and ecological awareness.

  2. To provide excellent teaching and learning experiences in the Applied Bachelor’s Program in Food Engineering Technology.

  3. To conduct research and advance knowledge, technology, and the arts, with a focus on developing the potential of local raw materials and products, aiming for regional and international recognition.

  4. To carry out community service activities based on the outcomes of research and the development of science, technology, and the arts.

Objectives

  1. Producing skilled professionals who are ready to work in the food and chemical industries, or to start their own businesses in these fields.

  2. Capable of innovating in the development of commercially scalable food products for both local and global markets.
