Program Learning Outcomes
- Possess a strong understanding of fundamental concepts and principles of modern agribusiness in the areas of management, business, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, food supply chains, law and policy, and information technology.
- Master agribusiness fundamentals grounded in science and technology, and possess knowledge of post-harvest processing innovations that add value to products in a safe manner and in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Demonstrate mastery of the basics and applications of legal science in the field of agribusiness and agroindustry, including law and policy, agrarian regulations, producer protection, and trade of food and non-food commodities, as well as a strong understanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) relevant to the development of innovative food and non-food products, geographical indications, traditional knowledge, trademarks, and plant variety protection.
- Able to design, produce, manage, and analyze agribusiness and agroindustry ventures from financial, technical, legal, and market feasibility aspects, with innovation and sustainability, while demonstrating integrity, professional ethics, and social responsibility in agribusiness and agroindustry practices. Graduates are also committed to the principles of sustainability and social justice, communicate effectively in both academic and professional-millennial contexts, and are capable of collaborative work in multidisciplinary settings.
